I Was Not Supposed to Be Here. That Is Exactly Why I Am.

I entered Ngee Ann Polytechnic at 48 — older than most of my classmates, and certainly older than the system expected.
But I was not there to fit in. I was there to pivot.
I already had an NUS degree in Psychology. I had authored 7 books prior to entering poly. I had built a following on TikTok.
What I did not have was a platform to share what I had learned — about branding, about reinvention, about the courage to start again.
NP gave me that platform.
The Brand
NP Samchoon was not born at NP. It was conceptualised before I enrolled — with a clear visual identity, a distinct voice, and a strategic purpose.
The name is not a persona. It is an extension of myself — amplified, focused, and intentional.
The Mission
I am building something bigger than a diploma — a bridge between conventional education and the future of work.
Through the HAS framework (Human-AI Symbiosis) (which I published 2 books on whilst in poly), I aim to show that technology is not a threat. It is a partner — and those who learn to collaborate with it will lead the next era.
The Invitation
This site is not just a portfolio. It is a record of what is possible when you refuse to follow the script.
If you are a late starter, a career pivoter, or someone who has been told it is too late — let this be proof that it is not.
Read the articles. Watch the videos. And if something resonates, reach out.
